Unfortunatly, Dennis had to close his bar at the end of March 2007 due to a lack of business ! - Fritz, Austria

Tried Doyle's last week and was very impressed by the bar and the service. Guinness is the best I tasted since I managed an hotel in Dublin 4. tried the Irish Stew and it was super. The owner served me and his stories about ireland were amazing. went in for one but stayed many hours longer that I should have. Cursed Doyle'S next day as I nursed an Irish hangover but soon forgot as I remembered my good experience.Small tip, play more Irish music later in the day also. - Manfred Schick, Austria

Visited Doyles bar not so long ago, from outside seems like a small dark pub, typical to many irish pubs in vienna, but as soon as you walk in the bar opens up into many big seating areas, two bars and a darts area. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Good cider, cheapest ive seen in an irish pub in austria and also very clean. They recently brought in a food menu which is at excellent quality, however one would not wait days for a plate of chips. Can't be passed by!

This is the latest Irish bar opening in Vienna and it's by the far the most 'Irish' of all the Irish pubs there. It's a little quiet at the moment because it is new but this place will become an institution for sure. Good variety of beers and the cider is the cheapest I have seen abroad. Friendly staff and good music. - Anon, Ireland

For the information of the previous reviewer the owner's name is Denis, and the bar is fantastic. The staff are friendly and there is a nice irish atmosphere about the place, being from Ireland myself I find the bar comfortable and welcoming. They are soon to get a chef who will serve authentic Irish food. With 4/5 different seating areas the bar is something different to the other dark cramped Iriah bars in the surrounding area. Personally I find it refreshingly modern yet keeping with the traditional Irish bar "decor". A definite visit for anyone in the area - Anonymous, Ireland

Hi as far as I know there are only 4 genuine Irish bars in Vienna. I asked the owner, a nice Irish guy called Danny or denny about this. The two bars are actually open but during the week the smaller bar is closed for the summer he said. - Tom Reagen, Austria

This bar is one of millions of irish bars in Vienna. Since it only opened a month ago, it's a bit empty, which is actually not a bad thing. It has two bars, at the moment, only one of them is open. The staff is really nice. They have a nice variety of beers and they have nice cold cider. It's the perfect place to sit down and relax at. Go in and try it out!
