Sex Not Specified It was my 3rd time in SF and I love most places around especially in Union square yet Lefty O'Doul's shocked me: its manager was apparently in hectic mood... and screamed at us for nothing! It was at the last moments of the Soccer World cup Final game Italy-France: when we finally found table near small TV, my brother got in line to order the food. Manager John Fair came to me and said that I have to vacate the table as other people will soon need it since they already have the food. I declined to leave - my brother was about to get the food and be here in 2 min, yet Mr Fair was not "fair" at all: he raised his voice and said that he can decline service to anyone. I answered that he is not correct in being so rude to me. Then he said that he was gonna call police if I do not leave ... I do not even know how good is the food there, yet atmosphere and this particular manager spoiled this sunny day in SF! - Dmitriy, USA

Sex Not Specified Plan to go there this summer with my wife and young kids for an "early" dinner. Have very fond memories of a great lunch there with my grandftaher in the early 70s on one of the many family trips to San Fran. Still remember the sense it was an "institution or fixture" in the city among the local biz lunch and a cocktail set and have a great respect for tradition and lore. Difference on this next visit will be the tall frothy glass in front of me as it has been 30 long years and I am well over 21 now. - Deep South, USA

Male I have been to the Restaurant/ Piano Bar twice and both times I had a great time. Great Service. Good Food. It has a very quiet and relaxed atmosphere. I especially enjoyed Singing with the Piano. We even met two Bartenders who are from Denver. I highly recommend Lefty Odouls when you are in San Francisco. - John Tresco, USA
