I think it was a pretty nice place to go to i went in there on a monday nite and the bar staff was very nice and seemed to know alot about music.. also a nice pint too. a small bit dirty but ud get over it.. the security are nice to they will be willing to have a chat wit ya and arent stuck up... keep it up - james, cork

they need to throw out all they're staff and regulars, bring back jim lee, and paint the place white and make some light, it's full of losers at the moment no wonder it's not doing well

I agree with the potential but I think the others are too hard on the Quad. I see it as a a viable alternative to the brog. The music is still quiet after midnight so it's possible to talk and I have oftened availed of their carry-out.

You gotta see this place on a busy night otherwise the atmosphere is lacking. NIce to see some alternative music, but it seems that the management don't really suit the scene? Has potential, needs the right people to recognise it though - Misha, Ireland

Another one that could have been a contender. One of the first bars in Cork to stay open really late all week long. Sadly, the place has degenerated into a kip with a load of drunk "alternative" students counting out their pennies at the bar. And what's with the constant smell of piss? - cyrill, ireland
