Having spent many years in other locals around the area, I have finally found what I was looking for. The food is far from Jean-Christope Novelli Cuisine, but it is home-cooked quality food. Their new wine menu, that according to the bar staff has increased sales dramatically, offers a great range of fine wines. There is a huge collection of imported beers. The staff are charming friendly, and all Irish - how unusual nowadays. Well worth a look! - Karl, Dublin

An old fashioned pub in many ways but a very young staff creates a vibrant atmosphere. Pints were perfect. Didn't actually eat as they only serve lunch but having looked at the menu I would definitly drop in for food sometime. Very pleasant experience in all. - Nick, Scotland
