My wife and I ate in Bru last Saturday and have to say it was one of the most enjoyable meals we have had in a long time. We were greated by a pleasant lady who showed us to a table and the service was prompt and efficient. The food was Bistro ++ and there was a surprising choice of fish options. After a couple of bottles of Wine we went upstairs and really enjoyed the athmosphere and had one to many cocktails. All in all a great night. - David, Clare

I went to bru with the wife and kids one Sunday afternoon. From the outside I thought it might be a bit too 'posh', but a friend had recommended it... and thank god he did. We were greeted at the door by a very friendly manager in a suit (although he could've been there doorman) and shown to our seats. They had a fantastic Sunday lunch menu which was a mixture of really good food with a slight carvery feel about it. The place itself was very open and airy and the kids were given etch-a-sketches and pictures to colour in. I thoroughly enjoyed the food, the service and the atmosphere and I'd recommend it to everyone! - Pat, Ireland

I haven't been to the restaurant downstairs in bru, though I've heard rave reviews... but I have been to the cocktail bar upstairs and I thought it was fantastic! Myself and the girls started off in bru with a kind of chilled atmosphere. We had a good natter with a Cosmopolitan in a really relaxed setting (they have lovely big comfy leather armchairs). As the night went on and the bar started to fill up, the DJ came on, the lights went down low and the place started to come alive. It was possibly one of the most enjoyable nights we've had out and the bar is straight out of Sex and the City. We can't wait to go back for those yummy cocktails! - Patricia, Monaghan
