Stayed there for a weekend, will never go back, was recommended by my sister in law as a quiet b & b. Turned out there was a 21st party in function room which is located upstairs, the music was full blast until small hours in the morning, my 2 kids were scared with all the racket & with the wall of our bedroom vibrating. When we went for breakfast in the morning at 9am, the bacon & eggs were over cooked & the rest was like it was left overs from the day before. Next time i might stay in hostel, it couldnt be any worse!! - Helen, Ireland

My husband and I stayed on the June Bank Holiday weekend. On a 2 nights BB and 1 dinner. Very impreseed with bedroom. Food was excellent. Had a lovely relaxing weekend. Spent the days in Bundoran and it was nice to leave the hustle & bustle and stay in The Melvin where we were well looked after. Be back next year - Joanne, Ireland

Myself and my boyfriend stayed in The Melvin last weekend, the rooms were top class, very clean and spacious, we found the staff very friendly and helpful. The friday nite was steak nite which we both got,it came with homemade onion rings, chips and a sauce all for only €15, (what a deal),that prepared us for a nite on the tiles in bundoran which is only 2 miles away,will def. b goin back, Joan - Joan, Ireland

An excellent addition to the thriving community of Kinlough. My wife and I were there on St;Paticks day and we enjoyed a superb meal served professionally by friendly staff. The atmosphere was amazing with a brilliant one man band in the bar area. We will be back. - Michael, Ireland
