three of my friends and I spent a weekend in Killarney and went to McSorley's in the towns centre on the saturday night following a recommendation from the receptionist at the hotel we were staying in. the entrance price is way over inflated (i don't think there are many places in dublin that would charge as much). the music was terrible and played the same diatribe all night long. the drinks were also over priced. there was a good enough atmosphere in the bar downstairs and had a good band playing. however once the band finished so did any joy we had that night. the people were all airbrushed versions of normal and we didn't encounter a pleasant word from one person in there. - Tanya O Shea, Ireland
