Came across this Kilkenney pub on my travels in Ireland two years ago. Very friendly atmosphere and great food ( I suggest the lamb stew). I also suggest the downstairs, which has a cellar-like feel to it with its uneven walls. Get a pint of Smithwick's on tap. I discovered smithwick's there and fell in love with the ale immediately. Fortunately you can finally get it in the states! - kathy krall, USA

Really cool spot. The stone work and layout gives it a really good cozy feeling. Gets pretty lively in the evenings though. And with a nightclub attached you could spend all night here.
