All the people here saying shit about the brog sound like the type of people you dont want to talk to in there. Yes its not the cleanest, althought it has been improved upon hugely and yes the pints are pretty poor but the atmosphere there is fantastic. There is nowhere like it for meeting random people and talking to them. If you want to pose and have people talk shit to you all night go to Soho, but if you are up for a laugh and dont like clubs the brog is the only spot to go in cork. Best place for scoring girls, best place for good music, best bouncers as they know you quite quickly and know who the trouble is from, best atmosphere as its a great laugh.

Fantastic people and atmosphere. If you want a laid-back night out in Cork with great alternative/indie choice of music,the Brogs the way to go. Its got a good student and backpacker-friendly type vibe, and the lack of posers/knackery type crowd is a welcome change for sure.... - Shar, Cork
