Yes the place is dirty and the toilets haven’t been cleaned in a long time. The Austrians should have realized by now. This is not an English / Irish bar! It is a money spinning venture by an Austrian to milk the money out of people by selling them an idea.

An English bar like this in the UK would have been closed by the HSE.

The guy who owns it claims to be of English origin. But this is a con. He also owns Bobby’s, selling UK food to expats.

PLEASE PLEASE, PLEASE do not assume this to be the real McCoy. Only the beer is of any value in this bar.

The bar has a nice fun atmosphere about it but this failed to disguise the disorder and dirt that lay beneath

Johnny's Pub is an amazing place if youre like me. its dark, smokey loud, crowded ash on the floor, drink till you vomit and hang out till 4 am. Its your best friends and strangers. Full of ex-pats and english blokes. Really its a good time. Sometimes they have live music sometimes its the rugby playin' bartenders playing drinking songs. basically if you ever listened to TUBTHUMBIN then this is your place. but dont you dare speak german, these guys will kick you out for muttering may i have beer? auf deutch. - nick, usa
