I was in Ireland over Christmas visiting family. During that time, I visited many restaurants and pubs..... One in particular stood out in my mind and that was The Rising Tide. We had a family meal which was also a birthday celebration and it was fantastic. The food was superb, the atmosphere was most warm and welcoming...true Irish culture. The staff there were excellent...Very skilled at what they did. I will definitely return if I get back to Cork and would definitely recommend a visit. A well hidden haven is the Rising Tide!!!

Fantastic bar with great athmosphere and superb food. Setting is idyllic next to the waterfront. A must if visiting Cork during the summer.
