a while back we went to an irish pub in eindhoven - the celtic pride
it was really great and i felt like i was back home again - i didnt want to leave lol!!!!
the staff were very polite and friendly and our meal was great - no complains!!!
a few of the staff took the time to chatter to us
we were complimented on the good behaviour of our 4 kids - the fact that they had manners and were not rampaging & running up and down the pub like apparently alot of dutch parents allow their kids - on saying that there was a family with a few kids and to be honest it was getting on my nerves listening to the kids running as hard as they could up and down the wooden floors!!!!
i would love to try out some of the many irish pubs about here in holland - unfortunately my hubby hates to drive and with us living outside venlo im dont think he will ever take me to amsterdam lol!!!!
theres an irish pub in venlo but well that leaves alot to the imagination - its not irish run and it doesnt even have food - in other words its a dutch cafe made to look like an irishpub!!!
anyway if anyone knows of any more pubs around my direction please let me know
