Those reviews are well outdated!!Get a life Mick,you cannot get into a bar in Cork without a passport,The bar was packed everynight I went in there,with loads of georgous women!Well done Waxy's keep it up! - sean, irl

One of corks worst dive bars, full of kids and scumbags. The only ones in there over 25 and the pedos trying to bag a 15 year old. AVOID!!!! - MICK, Ireland

waxy's bar is one of the best disco bars in cork,its under new management,and age groups vary from 21yrs up,the music is good and the atmosphere brilliant.the staff are very welcoming and a load of fun.whoever wrote that first review was obviously lying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

15 year olds trying to look older. please what a dump. avoid staff are rude doorstaff same and standards are below zero so city of culture 2005 avoid it..........
