The live local bands were good, $12 for a pitcher of Coors Light was a little pricey but whatever, we were having a good time until some regular punk decide to start a fight with the guys in our group by getting in the face and pushing one of the girls in our group. Security was no where to be found, I physically had to go find a security guard to get this punk taken care of and then to find out he's a regular who has done this many times and a real problem for security yet they keep letting him back in. We went out for a good time with good music and it was ruined because the staff doesn't have their stuff together. Needless to say we won't be back! - Melissa, USA

Cowshed is the place to be in San Marcos. Great food, huge bar, lots of pool tables, live bands, karaoke, and Ray the owner is the man. Stop by and see for yourself.

If you are looking for a local dive to hang out and get drunk, or see a bearded lady(Not a joke), Then the COW SHED is your place.
Ray the owner used to own a bar in Del Mar, then bought the "Shed" (formerly BOOMERANGS). It's a non stop party. - Vern, USA BUDDY
