Male First let me say that I absolutely LOVE Tasmania. The air is fresh, the people are friendly, the women are beautiful, the men are as ugly as a straight man can attest to and in general the state is my favourite of all in Australia. But Tasmanians brew two brands of beer in some of the most decorative bottles you can imagine. The people of Cascade Brewery in Hobart proudly proclaim to all that the water of Hobart is the purest in the world, stemming from pure mountain streams unsallied by pollutants or even the hand of man himself. They grow the finest hops in the world just north of the city in the fields that surround the towns of Sorrell and Port Arthur, the grain is grown using age old methods passed from father to son over many generations before travelling to the malthouse in golden kegs held between the thighs of maidens to not allow the grain to bruise. The ingrediants are carefully blended and the product brewed before the final addition.Cascade Brewery and it's sister brewery in the North at Launceston have the only remaining pack of Tasmanian Tigers left in the world,Everyone thought that they were extinct but anyone with even the remotest inkling of the ability to taste a fine ale will know that at the last minute all of those attributes that should make Tasmanian Beer the best in the world are hidden by the staff for themselves and they substitute it for Tassy Tiger Urine. If this is not true, please take to yourselves with a large piece of timber because with all the opportunities to make a superb beer, you fucked up. - Reg O'Grady, Australia
